An alumnus of Apple, Openwave, Slide, and Jawbone, Jeremiah Robison has made a name for himself in the fields of adaptive sensing technology. He founded CIONIC in 2018 with a mission to optimize the functional aids of wheelchairs and crutches given to his daughter, who has cerebral palsy. CIONIC then developed The Neural sleeve, a piece of hardware that augments human movement through mechanical stimulation. CIONIC has won Gold and Silver Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) IDEA awards for the Cionic Neural Sleeve, as well as won Time Magazine’s Best Invention of 2023.

They’re very fast, compared to other institutional investors. They did their diligence, but they did it swiftly. They brought in the right people.
